BORUSSIA DORTMUND have had an offer accepted for Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho.
Despite an array of interest, the German giants are in pole position to secure the youngster's signature with a deadline day deal.
City boss Pep Guardiola recently offered the youngster a new £30,000-a-week contract, but Sancho quickly rejected the offer due to his lack of first-team football at the Etihad.
The Citizens remained adamant that they would keep the teenager this summer, but the prospect of an eight-figure fee appears to have prompted a move.
Sancho is yet to make his debut for City, but he shot to prominence after winning the Golden Ball at this summer's European Under-17 Championships.
He tallied five goals, five assists and played an integral role in 10 of England's 15 goals.
However, Dortmund are not alone in their quest to secure the teenage prodigy's signature. Real Madrid, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have all indicated interest in the winger.
The England U17 international has not trained with the City side for over a month following the player's US tour snub.
After being regarded as one of the club's brightest academy prospects, the 17-year-old was shocked to find out that he was omitted from the tour after expressing his desire to leave.
Sancho joined from Watford for £500,0000 in 2015 after signing for The Hornets at the age of seven.
Dortmund are planning a three-year swoop for the youngster in a bid to bolster their squad for the new Bundesliga campaign.
An overseas club will have to pay a significantly smaller fee in compensation compared to an English rival.
