Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj spent £3million on a house in Cheshire — only to be sold to Spanish club Real Sociedad days later
Belgian winger, 22, thought he had a future at Old Trafford — but Jose Mourinho shipped him out
FOOTIE star Adnan Januzaj spent £3million on a house just days before Manchester United sold him abroad.
The £40,000-a-week Belgian winger, 22, had barely completed the deal for the Cheshire mansion when he was transferred.
It is thought he never even got the chance to move in. A source said: “Adnan fell in love with the property as soon as he saw it.
"He was delighted when his offer was accepted.
“The sale dragged on a bit but he was hopeful he had a future at Old Trafford. Manager Jose Mourinho had other ideas.”
The house in Altrincham cost Januzaj £2.7million plus £237,750 in stamp duty.
But just eight days later he was offloaded to Real Sociedad in Spain for £9.8million.
The Sun previously revealed he took a woman to Nando’s on an £18 date then got her to fork out £5 to pay for parking.

“He’s a wealthy boy and it’s always good to put money into bricks and mortar, but I’m not sure many people would choose to complete a house purchase a week before they move abroad to work for five years.”
Adnan broke into the United first team in 2013 aged 18 under then manager David Moyes, scoring twice on his debut.
He scored five goals in 66 appearances for the Red Devils before spending the last two years on first at German club Borussia Dortmund and then at Sunderland.
