PSG considering splashing MORE cash with bid to match Gianluigi Donnarumma’s £65m release clause
Young Italian shot stopper only signed a new contract this summer after months of indecision but his time at the San Siro could be cut short
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN could splash out another small fortune on AC Milan stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to reports.
The highly-sought after youngster has a £65million release clause in his contract which he signed this summer.
Donnarumma looked braced to leave the San Siro for Juventus this summer after being caught in a contract dispute with the club.
With super-agent Mino Raiola plotting his next move and the potential for a huge money deal on the horizon, he wanted to get the best possible deal for the young goalkeeper.
AC Milan fans turned on Donnarumma and even threw fake notes at him to show their anger.
The 18-year-old finally signed a new deal with AC Milan in July where he will pocket a staggering £5.3m per year until 2021.
But his stay with the mega-rich Italian side could be cut short with PSG looming.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the French giants are ready to activate his £65m release clause and offer him and even better wage packet.

Milan could then target former Liverpool stopper Pepe Reina as his replacement.
PSG have come under the microscope this summer for their remarkable spending power after breaking a world-record to sign Neymar for £198m.
They then landed teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe on a loan deal with a view of making it permanent for £166m next summer.
Their spending has forced Uefa to take action and have opened an investigation to see if PSG have fallen foul of FFP.
