The former Watford boss has indicated his intentions to return to English football when his current contract with RCD Espanyol expires - which is at the end of the season.
In his first season in charge of the Spanish outfit, Flores led them to a respectable eighth-placed finish in La Liga.
However, his club are under the cosh this season and are struggling to replicate their fine form of last term.
Espanyol have only collected eight points from their first seven La Liga outings.
Prior to this, Flores spent a year in charge of Watford before being succeeded by Walter Mazzarri in July 2016.
He won 36% of his games with the Hornets and led them to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Bilic is under ongoing pressure at the London Stadium and is expected to get until the end of the season to prove he is worth a new Hammers deal.
