Not only was the venue at one of the most famous castles in Ireland, but guests were also treated to a farm and funfair at the event.

The 29-year-old took to Instagram where he posted a picture of himself and his son, along with girlfriend Dee Devlin.

He simply captioned the post: "Mac land."

While in another upload, he proudly posed with his child, commenting: "Conor Jr's Christening."

And in the evening at the castle, there was even fireworks, live music and fire dancers to entertain those still there.

Luttrellstown Castle boasts nearly 56-acres, and has been visited by many high-profile celebrities.

Not only did Queen Victoria visit the 15th century building in 1844 and 1900, but is also the venue that David Beckham and his wife Victoria were married in 1999.

McGregor - dressed in a typical classy suit - looks set to return to the Octagon after suffering a knockout defeat against Floyd Mayweather in a boxing bout back in August.

The 'Notorious' posted a cryptic message on Twitter recently fuelling speculation of a match-up against interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson.

His manager Audie Attar has revealed a return back to UFC will definitely happen as the Irishman looks to break more records in MMA.

McGregor hasn't fought inside the steel cage since last November when he ripped away the lightweight title from Eddie Alvarez.
