Neymar tired of Unai Emery’s video analysis at PSG – and has gone to the board

The former Barcelona striker no longer wants to spend over 30 minutes studying footage from previous fixtures

NEYMAR has slammed Unai Emery's constant use of video analysis at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Spanish boss devotes a large chunk of his time to review footage and images with his squad.

According to , the Brazilian is hoping to change the way that Unai Emery works to improve the squad.

The £198million man does not believe that he benefits from spending over 30 minutes analysing previous game-play.

Despite complaining to the PSG board about the methods used, the 25-year-old is said to still be on good terms with his boss.

Emery recently said: "Neymar needs some time to adapt and for his teammates to adapt to him.

"He is a player who creates a lot of pressure and aggression when he has the ball and has already had great performances with us.

"It is Neymar, he plays like Neymar and he will grow like Neymar.

"We are analysing some videos with him to see how he can grow, especially in positioning and working with his teammates."

Brazil boss Tite also uses video analysis to improve the international squad, but his presentations are much shorter.

Neymar has also expressed his disapproval of the club's method to select a penalty taker.

The Brazilian would rather have a designated taker, rather than choosing at the time which he believes creates unnecessary suspense.

Nonetheless, PSG are currently topping the Ligue 1 standings and Neymar has already bagged seven goals and five assists.
