MARCO VAN GINKEL has urged Chelsea to give him a second chance - insisting he is better than ever.
Former Stamford Bridge boss Jose Mourinho paid Vitesse Arnhem £8million for the Holland international in 2013.
However midfielder Van Ginkel made just four Blues appearances before suffering a cruciate knee injury that September.
He has since had spells on loan to AC Milan, Stoke City and PSV Eindhoven.
The 24-year-old helped PSV lift the Dutch title in 2016, and has this season captained them to the top of the Eredivisie.
Van Ginkel has now called on Blues chief Antonio Conte to bring him back to West London.
The seven-cap international said: "In the end I want to get another chance with Chelsea.
"I think that I have definitely got a lot better compared to when I first joined them.

"If that won't turn out to be the case then I will have to look further afield.
"And of course Chelsea will demand a decent transfer fee for me. I still have two years left on my contract with them."
