WWE Raw results: Paige is bossing the women’s division and Jason Jordan is ready to snap

WWE Raw has been on a roll the last few weeks – and last night put on another stellar action-packed show.
Here are the important five things we learnt from watching Raw.

Jason Jordan is ready to snap

The show opened with a Kurt Angle and Jordan promo, with Jordan demanding a shot at
Roman Reigns’ Intercontinental Championship.
Roman came out, followed by Samoa Joe, who both told Jordan in not so many words: “Shhh, grown ups talking.” So Jordan hit Reigns with a surprise belly-to- belly suplex.
Reigns defeated the youngster in their impromptu match, then hit Jordan with a Superman Punch – even after Jordan saved him from a post-match beatdown from Joe.

Jordan went complaining to Angle backstage, where Joe attacked him for another humiliation.

Jordan’s spoiled brat shtick was his best work yet. His whining and frustration is actually getting over (it’s taken him long enough) and a sign he’ll turn heel on his old man very soon.

Paige is the new boss of the women’s division… but she’s no empress yet

Paige defeated Sasha Banks in her first match on Raw in well over a year.

Her Absolution teammates beat down Bayley and Mickie James at ringside – then laid out Sasha post-match for good measure.
They also came out after an Asuka v Alicia Fox match and attacked Foxy – but let Asuka walk away.
WWE is clearly building towards an Asuka v Paige feud. With the help of her Absolution buddies, could Paige be the first women to defeat Asuka?

There’s a monstrous battle coming

Kane and Braun Strowman still aren’t finished with each other.
Strowman came out to give Elias a hilarious beating – and the crowd lapped up ever bone-crunching blow.
Kane then appeared on the big screen to issue Braun a challenge for another clash between the pair.
This feud has been fun but they’ve been walloping each other with chairs, steps and huge power moves for weeks now.
Can WWE really stretch this feud out to the next big – Royal Rumble on January 28 – without it getting stale?

Matt Hardy is “Woken”

After his breakdown in the ring last week, Matt Hardy has been teasing his Broken… sorry, Woken gimmick on social media all week.
Last night it finally happened, as Hardy cut a promo in full Woken mode – the funny voice, the mannerisms, the ludicrous language, the works.
It was brilliant. And despite Hardy playing a glorified jobber for weeks, the crowd went crazy for it.
The bad news is, he’s being paired with heat-killer Bray Wyatt. The pair exchanged gobbledygook threats, before Hardy sentenced Wyatt to “deletion”.
Wyatt said: “The ramblings of a madman can be very dangerous.” How true. Talking gibberish week-in week-out has ruined Bray.

The Bar are still tag team champs

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose invoked their tag title rematch clause in the show’s main event – but they came up short after Samoa Joe interfered.
Roman Reigns charged to the rescue but Sheamus nailed Ambrose with a Brogue Kick and slumped Cesaro over him to get the pin.
WWE seemed to be teasing that it was Roman’s fault for chasing after Joe instead of protecting Ambrose.
Is there dissention in the ranks of The Shield already?
