The striker has already scored 17 goals this term, but he upset his team-mates after being sent off against Schalke last month.
Aubameyang signed for the German giants in 2013 on a five-year deal from French club AS Saint-Etienne.
He has since bagged 104 goals in the last three seasons at the Westfalenstadion.
