Ander Herrera booked for diving in Manchester derby just two-days after Jose Mourinho accuses City of simulation
The Spanish midfielder was given a yellow card as the Citizens led 2-1 at Old Trafford
ANDER HERRERA was given a yellow card during the Manchester derby for diving in the Citizens penalty box.
And it ironically came just two-days after Jose Mourinho slated Manchester City for the same offence.
The Spanish ace collapsed to the ground after colliding with Argentina ace Nicolas Otamendi.
But referee Michael Oliver decided that it was a dive and warned the 28-year-old with a yellow card.
Herrera jumped up after the incident and charged towards the referee, surrounded by a swarm of players from both teams.
And ironically, Mourinho previously claimed that Pep Guardiola's men are a bunch of divers.
Before the game, the Reds boss said: "If you ask me one thing that I don't like a lot is that they lose their balance very easily.
"A little bit of wind and they fall."
Pep's men triumphed 2-1 at Old Trafford to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to 11 points.
David Silva opened the scoring, before Marcus Rashford levelled the scoring in first half stoppage time.
Otamendi bagged the winner after 54 minutes to secure three points for Pep Guardiola's men.
