Manchester City star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne set to sign new six-year £62m deal
KEVIN DE BRUYNE has agreed a mega new six-year deal at Manchester City worth £62.4MILLION.
The Belgian ace only penned a £115,00-a-week contract two years ago, which runs until 2021.
But City bosses are anxious to fend off growing interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
And De Bruyne, 26, has been offered new terms worth £200k a week — plus bonuses — until January 2024.
The midfielder said: “I’m very happy here and the people at the club know that.
“I’ve no feeling to go anywhere else. I enjoy being part of the project here and playing the kind of football we are playing.”

The new deal, earning him pay parity with team-mates Sergio Aguero and David Silva as City’s £200k-a-week plus players, will be announced in the New Year.
KDB added: “The team is going in the right direction. I made the right decision coming to City and my family feels the same.”
City are also confident that Fernandinho will commit to a new deal — even though he will be allowed to talk to other clubs next month.
The Brazilian is part of manager Pep Guardiola’s plans for next season, despite his current contract expiring in the summer.
His countryman Gabriel Jesus is also in line for fresh terms, with reports in Brazil suggesting he will earn a 40 per cent pay rise to £120,000 a week until 2023.
Raheem Sterling has been told he will be sorted out as well — but may have to be patient.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Ederson Moraes and Leroy Sane hope to open talks in the near future.
De Bruyne also revealed how Guardiola has helped him settle at the Etihad.
The Belgian said: “He tries to engage us all and it’s nice to talk about your kids and family.
“As a footballer, it’s always better if things are good and your family is happy and he definitely understands that.
“The boss told us we need the feeling to win every game and that’s what we’ve tried to do.”
