Braun Strowman removed from WWE Tour after being sent home due to illness
The 34-year-old giant is now a major doubt for the first Raw event of 2018
WWE superstar Braun Strowman is a major doubt for the first Raw event of 2018 after being stuck down by an illness.
The 34-year-old has been pulled out of the WWE Holiday Tour, despite featuring in the opening two nights.
He subsequently was unable to fight in New York the following day, while he also missed the event in Toronto on Saturday night.
Strowman fought Kane in the first two nights - powerslamming him through a table much to the delight of his fans.
He is due to battle Brock Lesnar and The Big Red Machine on January 28 for the Universal title at Royal Rumble in triple-threat match.
Strowman enjoyed an incredible rise to fame in 2017, becoming one of the WWE's most popular wrestlers fighting the likes of Lesnar, John Cena and Roman Reigns.
While he also had an ongoing feud with The Undertaker and The Shield.

He is yet to claim his first world championship after being repeatedly foiled in his attempts to hold the Universal belt after defeats against the former UFC heavyweight champ.
Strowman isn't the only WWE star to be currently out of action, as two-time Divas champion Paige suffered yet another injury a month after returning to the sport.
