Chelsea ace Eden Hazard wins Belgium’s ‘Devil of the Year award’ ahead of Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne
The Blues star received three times more votes than Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku
KEVIN DE BRUYNE has been in explosive form for Premier League leaders Manchester City.
But Eden Hazard has won the 'Devil of the Year' award of a string of impressive performances for Belgium in 2017.
The Chelsea ace only made five appearances for Roberto Martínez's international side in 2017.
But after just a handful of games, the Chelsea star scored three goals and provided two assists for the Belgium squad.
His sublime displays saw him claim over 10,280 votes - which is more than double the amount received for De Bruyne.
Manchester United's £75million striker Romelu Lukaku got 3,223 votes from the Belgium fans.
The result may come as a shock to some football fanatics, who have witnessed De Bruyne dominate the Premier League for City.
