MANCHESTER CITY have reportedly ramped up their efforts to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez with a fresh £20million bid.
The Citizens were planning on waiting until the summer - where they'd be able to get Alexis on a free - but the injury to Gabriel Jesus has sped things up.
According to the , personal terms of around £250,000 a week have already been agreed between the club and player.
Arsenal will do well to recoup any type of fee back for the player, whose contract will expire in May.
This deal was planned to go through in the summer, for a much higher amount, but Arsenal's fail-safe Thomas Lemar wasn't completed.
It's likely they will go back in for the Monaco winger, but after their troubles negotiating in the past that may be difficult.
Arsene Wenger has remained firm that there have been no new offers for the Chilean, but he has been similarly coy before the departures of Robin van Persie, Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas in the past.
The 29-year-old will link up with his former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola if he makes the switch to the Etihad.
Sanchez and Guardiola enjoyed a successful spell in Spain, winning the league in the 2012-13 season.
