Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri ‘agrees to take over at Chelsea next summer in place of Antonio Conte’

Italian media are reporting Allegri could succeed Conte at Stamford Bridge, just as he did at Juventus

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI could be on his way to Chelsea to take over from fellow Italian Antonio Conte.

It looks like Conte will be packing his bags after the season ends in May, with the Blues shortlisting Juventus boss Allegri to take the reigns.

are reporting that Allegri is high on Chelsea's wishlist for their next manager at Stamford Bridge.

They also say, however, that the Italian's have no desire of letting Allegri leave the Juventus Stadium.

The 50-year-old's contract doesn't run out until 2020, and they'll want to keep their enigmatic coach until that date arrives.

Allegri has won the double for the last three years on the spin, just missing out on swooping the Champions League - losing in the 2014-15 and last season's finals.

That may not be enough to save Antonio Conte his job, with owner Roman Abramovich expecting his side to be challenging for the title.
