WWE news: Rich Swann cleared of all charges involving domestic incident from December
RICH SWANN has been cleared of all charges involving a domestic dispute in December — and now he is fighting for a WWE return.
The former 205 Live star was taken into custody after a public incident where witnesses claimed he put his wife, Vanarrah Riggs, in a headlock.
WWE suspended Swann, 26, for violating their zero tolerance policy on domestic and was released from the company a day later.
Charges of false imprisonment/kidnapping (a third degree felony) and misdemeanour domestic battery were dropped due to lack of evidence.
Now his lawyer has come out and said he will be attempting to make his way back into the WWE.
Lawyer Ian Pickens‘ statement said: “We are very pleased with the resolution of these charges.

"We would like to thank the State Attorney’s Office for conducting a thorough investigation, as well as Mr. Swann’s family, friends, and fans that supported him through this.”
He added: “During our representation of Mr. Swann, we have come to know him as a kind and humble young man, who we believe has a bright future ahead of him.

"We are hopeful that with the dismissal of these charges Mr. Swann will be able to return to the WWE and our firm will do everything we can to assist him in returning to the ring. Thank you.”
WWE have declined to comment on the situation regarding Swann's future.
