Neil Warnock wants fans to chant ‘Warnock is a w*****’ rather than minute’s silence when he dies

NEIL WARNOCK has been thinking deeply about life after the deaths of several legends from his era.

The Cardiff City boss has thought of extraordinary way for fans to show their appreciation for him after he dies.

When a legend of the game dies, the usual process is for fans and players to participate in a minute's silence.

But Warnock, who will be 70 in December, has demanded for a different reaction when day the comes.

According to the , he said: "I don't want silence.

"I want them all to be chanting 'Warnock is a w***** over and over again. For a whole minute.

"That would be my ideal. They'll all smile because they'd all know that would mean a lot to me.

"As daft as it sounds. It matters because I've stirred emotions.

"I've helped people love football."

The former Leeds United boss claimed that he has been forced to think about this after the passing of two legends.

He said: "Cyrille Regis dies, Jimmy Armfield dies.

"People all around me from my era are dying or dead. You start to think about that.

"I've started to think more about how I want to give as much enjoyment as I can to the supporters and the people who love the game while I'm still here."
