WWE superstar Matt Hardy offers Rangers ace Jason Cummings wrestling match with Grado
Grappling-loving striker has already clashed with Scottish hero Grado and now has an offer from the tag-team legend
WWE superstar Matt Hardy has offered Glasgow Rangers footballer Jason Cummings a professional wrestling match.
The 22-year-old Scotland international is a massive WWE fan and has wrestled with Scottish wrestling star Grado.
But now he has been offered the chance to star in the big time with a match against ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy – one half of the legendary Hardy Boyz team with brother Jeff.
The crazy story of football vs wrestling started when Gers fan Grado convinced Cummings to sign for his side with a threat of some TLC.
And it snowballed into the pair joining up to face WWE icon Hardy.
In an interview with RangersTV, he said: “He messaged me saying you better sign with Rangers or I’ll put you through a table.
“So I thought I’m not wanting big Grado putting me through a table! But obviously him being a Rangers fan, we didn’t get on so good when I was at Hibs.
“I beat him and he wasn’t happy with that. So now I think we’re going to be tag team partners. He’s trying to get me on board with the tag teams and hopefully we can go for the Hardy boys next!”
After Cummings joked that the pair could take on the Hardy Boyz, WWE legendHardy warned Cummings that they had been marked for DELETION.
Responding to the video on Twitter, Hardy wrote: “This man & @gradowrestling are coming for #HouseHardy?
“They have now been marked for DELETION!”
