TIGER WOODS and girlfriend Erica Herman leave revered Californian restaurant Nobu Malibu.

The former World No 1 doesn't look in a good mood.. maybe that's down to the fact he finished six shots off the lead in the first round of the Genesis Open.

Woods, back on the PGA Tour after a number of severe injuries, returned to the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles for the first time in 12 years.

But he struggled off the tee and shot shot a one-over-par 72 in a roller-coaster round that included five birdies, four bogeys and a double-bogey.

That left the 14-time Major winner trailing in the wake of joint leaders Patrick Cantlay and Tony Finau.

Afterwards Woods and Herman headed for the Nobu, where the rich and famous enjoy "brightly flavored Japanese fusion" in a restaurant that warrants world class status.

The LA Weekly says "spice and yuzu meet traditional raw fish preparations for some outstanding bites of food.

But it seems Woods, 42, and Erica, 33 - who, incidentally, who managed his pop-up restaurant titled 'The Woods' last year - were less than enamoured with life as they headed for their hotel.

There was a barely a smile to be had as the evening ended.

Herman is the latest woman to capture Woods’ heart. He split from his previous girlfriend, Kristin Smith, a few months ago, confirming in August that they had parted ways.

Before that, Woods dated Olympic skier, Lindsay Vonn, for nearly three years.

His marriage Elin Nordegren ended in 2010 after he admitted to infedelity.
