AARON RAMSEY is reportedly demanding a wage increase as he nears the end of his Arsenal contract.
The Gunners have begun talks with the Welsh ace to try and pin him down with a longer deal.
According to , Ramsey is looking for a major increase on his £110,000-a-week wages.
And the Gunners will be hoping that he does not copy the approach used by Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates.
The pair kicked up a fuss about their wages and backed the North London club into a corner until they had to make a decision.
Sanchez left to join Manchester United as a result, and Ozil nearly trebled his wages to £300,000-a-week.
Ramsey has made more appearances for the Gunners than any other current star in the first-team.
But new signings Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are both pocketing around £170,000-a-week.
