Ebdon, 47, has been on the professional snooker circuit since 1991 and is still going despite exploring this new avenue.

Despite pocketing over £3.5million during his 17 years on the circuit, Ebdon was declared bankrupt in 2015.

But since moving to Hungary after remarrying in 2011, the snooker star has become much more focused on his health, becoming vegan and "detoxing".

On his potty new career-path, Ebdon, revealed: “Today is my final day at the College of Healing in Malvern where I have been on a two-year course, training to become a professional healer.

“Evian and Buxton tested at 300. Generally, tap water is 300+ppm. Rain water at 12ppm and distilled water at 0ppm.

“So, armed with the facts, which would you rather drink, for optimum health?”

Ebdon - who also revealed he distils his own water to ensure peak purity - has also spoken out on social media about the most efficient ways to "detox".

The Islington-born snooker star - with two maximum 147 breaks in his distinguished career - said: "Dry fasting is the most severe form of detoxification.

"But personally, I'd rather fast with distilled water only.

"Either of those options, is certainly preferable to any medication, all of which is toxic and has to be dealt with first, by the immune system, before anything else."

Strict vegan Ebdon - who dropped out of school before taking his O-levels, a decision he now regrets - added: "Distilled water is by far and away the safest water to drink.

"You can trust organic fruits and vegetables, especially if you grow your own.

"Raw vegan is best but animal products and processed foods will tax your immune system.

"The question is, how good do you want to feel?"

Current world No50 Ebdon won the World Championship in 2002 - beating legend Stephen Hendry 18-17 in the final - and has nine ranking tournament title wins.
