Get the lowdown on the former rugger star appearing on the C4 show with his wife Nikki
SEVEN Year Switch is a reality show offering warring couples the chance to swap partners for a fortnight in order to shake up their boring relationships.
Ex-England rugby international Simon Hunt is appearing with his wife Nikki - here is the lowdown on him...
Who is Simon Hunt?
Simon Shaw was born on July 22, 1981 and played at international level for England Sevens.
In his club career he starred for Premiership side London Irish before moving to France and playing for Top 16 club Narbonne and then Perpignan.
Simon returned to England in 2004 and following injury played for Bristol Shoguns.
He competed in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi for England Sevens.
He also represented the Barbarians and is currently Director Of Rugby for Old Bristolians.
Simon also has a day job, working as a PE teacher at a school for students with emotional behavioural difficulties.
What is Seven Year Switch about?
Reality show Seven Year Switch is seen as a successor to former Channel 4 hit Wife Swap.
It features warring partners who are suffering from the classic “seven-year itch” swap places with another pair in the same situation for two weeks.
But unlike Wife Swap, which had couples discussing their experience at the end, this series gives them a chance to decide whether they want to stay together or end the relationship after they have returned home.
In a potentially relationship-ending curveball, there are no rules for the couples — and they are free to share beds.
When is Seven Year Switch on Channel 4?
The first episode of Seven Year Switch aired on Channel 4 on March 6 at 9.15pm.
The couples flew to Thailand to meet their new partners for the first time.
Viewers can catch up on any missed episodes online with Channel 4 On Demand after the broadcast.
