Injured Celtic star Leigh Griffiths sits with the fans to cheer on Hoops in Old Firm derby

Despite being unable to entertain the fans on the pitch, the Scottish striker mingled with fans and gave them something to cheer about as he tied a Celtic scarf tot he railings at the Ibrox

CELTIC star Leigh Griffiths has had to watch his side's biggest match of the season from the sidelines, as he nurses an injury.

But he still managed to entertain fans by wrapping a green and white scarf around the railings in the away end- which carries on his tradition of tying a Celtic scarf to the goal-post in previous clashes at the Ibrox.

The Scottish striker has found the back of the net 10 times for Celtic, but has been sidelined for four weeks after picking up a calf injury against Hibs.

As the club's second highest goal scorer this season it was anticipated that he would be sorely missed in today's fixture but Moussa Dembele, Odsonne Edouard and Tomas Rogic have stepped up and provided three goals for their side thus far.

Down to ten men, after Jozo Simunovic was sent off for elbowing Rangers' Alfredo Morelos, Celtic are giving their travelling fans an entertaining afternoon.

Celtic have dominated the Scottish Premiership for the past six years and a win today could move them closer to Brendan Rodgers clinching another title.
