DAVID BECKHAM is hoping to persuade Carlo Ancelotti to manage his Miami MLS franchise and wants to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.
The former England skipper, 42, recently announced his four-year wait to be granted a licence for a team is over in the South Florida city.
And ambitious Beckham clearly wants to make his mark on the US football scene with some spectacular signings.
reports that Ancelotti has been sounded out to manage Miami, with former US national manager Bruce Arena and even Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane as back-up options.
Ancelotti is without a club at the present time, with Beckham and the Italian forging a friendship during their time together at PSG.
Arena is also out of work after resigning as US manager in October last year after failing to guide the team to the 2018 World Cup.
And Zidane has remained good friends with Beckham following their time playing together at Real Madrid.
But it is on the playing side where even more eyebrows could be raised.
THEY'RE OFF Beckhams are heading Stateside for another adventure
Rumours continue that Cristiano Ronaldo could be nearing the end of his time at the Bernabeu, and he could conceivably earn even more than he already is in Spain by heading Stateside.
Rooney has previously spoken about finishing his stellar career playing footie in the US, although a return to boyhood club Everton might have made things more complicated.
