AN England fan was sent to Jesse Lingard’s hotel room after he was mistaken for a hairdresser.
He chatted for 10 minutes with Lingard, 25, and Marcus Rashford, 20, before the real barber turned up.
The England squad is staying amid tight security at the Grove near Watford ahead of Tuesday night's friendly with Italy at Wembley.
Sources said the fan was carrying a plastic bag with his swimming kit after using the hotel pool on Sunday evening.
He walked over to speak to some of the players before he was ushered past security by an FA coach waiting for Smokey.
Footage then shows him knocking on a door, saying: “Room service, Mr Lingard.”
Lingard calls out: “Enter. Enter the dragon.”
The man makes small talk with the Manchester United stars, who are lying on a double bed, before he is ejected.
A source said: “The players were expecting their regular barber. They were shocked.
“There was no trouble but it’s highly embarrassing.”
