Anthony Joshua wants Tyson Fury to sign with Eddie Hearn to get negotiations started over heavyweight showdown

Joshua fights Joseph Parker this weekend in a unification blockbuster - but he fancies a scrap against the 'Gypsy King'

ANTHONY JOSHUA has urged Tyson Fury to sign with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom stable - so the two can get it on in the ring.

Fury is on the comeback trail and is expected to be granted his boxing licence back once he passes a regulatory medical.

And the 'Gypsy King' is adamant he will reclaim his former titles that he had to relinquish to deal with personal problems outside the ring.

And Joshua, who defends his own three world title this weekend against WBO champ Joseph Parker, thinks there's an easy way for the two to fight in the future.

Speaking to iFL TV, AJ said: “Fury should sign with Matchroom because you know what's interesting looking at it this way, I fought [Wladmir] Klitschko at Wembley, [Carlosl] Takam and now [Joseph] Parker.

Joshua said the Fury fight will be a good deal to make and it’s one he has been looking forward to.

He added: “After the Klitschko fight [Deontay] Wilder wasn’t calling me out, I was calling out Fury, because that’s who I was looking to fight after.

"So it’ll be a good fight if we can make that happen that was a fight I was looking forward to - to be fair.

BUM'S GONE Deontay Wilder accused of 'ducking Anthony Joshua

“Then Wilder was quiet, and then after that I had a defence against Takam and then we’re here fighting for another championship belt, so no ducking and diving.

"We’ve been lively, we know where we are going, so just follow the process."

One fight that seems further away than ever is Joshua versus Wilder.

Wilder was set to work ringside for Sky Sports at the Principality Stadium but has ducked the commitment.

Hearn has laid into the American, 32, saying he is full of "bull****".

And the top promoter believes even if Wilder was offered into the ring by AJ following the fight, he would run scared, much like he is doing in their fight negotiations.

Hearn told iFL TV: "He’s [Wilder] getting paid a load of money by Sky to come and work for them this week and his bum’s gone - simple.

"Dillian Whyte’s there. Anthony Joshua’s there. 'I want to get in the ring' - bull**** your bum’s gone, don’t talk about these fights if you’ve got no intention of taking them."

Joshua vs Parker: Tips and odds ahead of unification bout

ANTHONY JOSHUA has vowed to take his times and pick his shots, while Joseph Parker will be relying to land a big hit.

If AJ adopts his calculated approach, Parker will be on the back foot - but regardless of his tactics we back Joshua to win by stoppage.

And he could select his shots and KO the Kiwi in the later rounds.

But if Parker turns this bout into a scrap, which he needs to do, AJ could land his heavy right hand earlier on.
