Conor McGregor faces UFC chop after handing himself in to New York cops for attack on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s bus
CONOR McGREGOR is facing the axe after his raucous rampage at the UFC 223 media day.
The Irishman was caught on camera causing complete chaos at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday, the same day he was stripped of his lightweight title.
McGregor was joined by crew members and pal Artem Lobov as he proceeded to attack a UFC bus containing rival Khabib Nurmagomedov and other fighters in the backstage area.
‘Notorious’ threw a dolly and other items at the vehicle, smashing a window while injuring fighter Michael Chiesa and an official.
A warrant was issued for McGregor’s arrest, and he is now in police custody.
However, the incident could spell the end of his UFC career, with Dana White revealing McGregor’s “disgusting” behaviour has left him feeling “sick”.
White told reporters: “I don’t want to talk to Conor McGregor. Right now – no, absolutely not.
“Do you want to be in business with Conor McGregor right now? Do you want to chase this guy around for interviews and buy his fights? I don’t think anybody is going to want to right now.

“I think everybody is going to be pretty disgusted with Conor McGregor right now. You want to grab thirty f*****g friends and come down here and do what you did today?
“It’s disgusting and I don’t think anybody is going to be huge Conor McGregor fans after this.
“I don’t know if he’s on drugs or what his deal is, but to come and do this and act like this – you’re talking about a guy who has a baby, he’s just had a kid. You have a son at home.
“The police are going to handle Conor and I know a handful of people here that are already filing lawsuits against Conor McGregor. God knows how many lawsuits he’s going to have by the time this is done.
“This has never happened in my history of being with the UFC. Listen, this is the fight game, mean things are said, people get in each other’s faces, people grab each other and do things like that, it’s completely normal.
“But what happened today was criminal, disgusting, despicable, makes me sick, and we as an organisation need to make sure this never happens again.”
