PREMIER LEAGUE legend Frank Lampard has been confirmed as the new Chelsea manager.
The former England and Blues midfielder replaces Maurizio Sarri - and will be happy to be back in London where his wife Christine Bleakley works.
How old is Frank Lampard?
Lampard, who is Chelsea's all-time leading goalscorer, turned 41 on June 20, 2019.
He started his senior professional career aged just 17 with West Ham United in 1995.
However, he is best remembered for his 13-year stint at Chelsea, in which he scored 147 goals.
The midfielder also netted 29 times in 106 appearances for the full England side between 1999 and 2014.
Lampard took his first steps into management in May 2018, when he was named as new Derby County boss.
He said: "This is my first job as a manager, but I've worked closely with some of the best coaches in the game and I'm confident in my own abilities and those of the team around me, including the board.
"I know it won't be easy - managing a football team never is - but I'm really looking forward to the challenge ahead."
When did he marry his wife Christine Bleakley?
Christine Bleakley has been a familiar face on our TV screens since the early 2000s.
She rose to fame presenting The One Show alongside Adrian Chiles on BBC One from 2007 to 2010.
The Northern Irish presenter, 40, started dating Frank in late 2009 and they got engaged in June 2011.
The couple eventually married at a church in Knightsbridge, West London, in December 2015.
Frank was then a New York City player, a club for which he made 29 appearances.
How many children does he have?
Frank, who was raised in Brentwood, Essex, has two daughters with former fiancee Elen Rivas, 43.
The Spanish model gave birth to Luna in August 2005 and Isla in May 2007 but Frank and Elen split in late 2008.
In 2011, Elen claimed in a furious tweet that the sports star was trying to keep their children away from her at Christmas.
But it has been reported the hostilities have since vanished.
Lampard also welcomed his third daughter - and first child with Christine - on September 21, 2018, as his wife gave birth to Patricia Charlotte.
Who did Frank play for?
Frank enjoyed a vastly successful career as a midfield ace.
He's a Chelsea legend and widely regarded one of the best players to grace the Premier League.
He played for West Ham United for six years under his uncle Harry Redknapp.
But after West Ham finished a disappointing 15th in 2000/01, Redknapp and Frank both left the club.
Chelsea spent £11million on the then 22-year-old.
Frank netted 147 goals in 13 years for The Blues.
He won the Premier League three times, the FA Cup four times and the Champions League once with The Blues.
He celebrated winning endless individual awards at Chelsea, including the Premier League Player of the Season for the 2004/05 campaign.
Frank played 106 times in 15 years for England but retired from international duty after England failed to win a game in the 2014 Fifa World Cup.
The midfielder also left Chelsea in the summer of 2014.
