CRISTIANO RONALDO was nowhere to be seen when Brazil legend Ronaldo picked his all-time world XI.

The retired star, who won 19 major honours during his career, named himself in the squad and left out the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

The pair are regarded as two the greatest to ever grace the pitch, both have set records for Real Madrid and they even share a surname.

But the retired Brazilian believes that his 18-year career has left him ranking ahead of the Portuguese superstar.

Jose Mourinho would support his decision after he claimed that the Brazilian is the best player to bare the name.

Ronaldo Nazario opted to put himself alongside Pele in his all-time XI.
