Procedure believed to be taking place on the small intestine will hopefully mean wrestler will not be forced to drain pouch as result of earlier ileostomy procedure

Flair, 69, is still in the process of recovering from that coma and is now scheduled to go under the knife again next Monday.

The procedure will reverse an ileostomy which was performed during his 2017 health scare.

say the op will involve the lowest part of the small intestine and means he will no longer be forced to drain a pouch (stoma) on the lower right side of the abdomen.

Flair's fiancee Wendy Barlow confirmed the surgery will take place to remove the stoma.

It is believed to be a "major" procedure.

But still it is good news that doctors have decided to reverse the stoma.

It was after last year's major scare the Flair came clean on his wild days.

He claimed he used to down ten beers and five cocktails every day to help overcome pains and injuries brought about in the ring.

Flair suffered kidney failure and was put in a medically induced coma.

Doctors reportedly told his family that he had only a "20 per cent chance to live".

But this latest bout of surgery is good news from medical professionals.
