SERGIO RAMOS put his World Cup heartbreak behind him as he proposed to Pilar Rubio.
The stunning TV presenter showed off her huge diamond ring after the Spain skipper popped the question.
Ramos jetted off on holiday with the WAG after Spain crashed out of the World Cup following a defeat to Russia on penalties.
And the Real Madrid star decided to propose to his long-term partner during a romantic dinner date.
He shared the news with his 25.7 million Instagram followers by posting a series of photographs with Rubio.
The caption read: ";She said yes. I love you... forever @pilarrubio_official."
One image showed the 40-year-old holding a huge bouquet of flowers while the defender kissed her hand.
The loved-up couple also took the chance to pose for a selfie in front of the stunning surroundings.
Ramos has been dating the brunette beauty since 2012 and the couple have three children together - Marco, Sergio Jr and Alajandro.
Rubio made her name covering events for popular television network La Sexta and she has racked up over 2.6 million followers on her Instagram page.
Ramos, who was in tears after the devastating defeat to Russia, is currently away with his fiancee and children.
The defender was spotted performing an outrageous back-flip into the ocean from the side of a yacht.
