Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom set to join Belgian side Sint-Truiden in £2million permanent deal
The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Sint-Truiden and scored six goals in 16 games.
CHUBA AKPOM is set to make an exit from the Emirates Stadium and join Belgian side Sint-Truiden.
The 22-year-old progressed through the Arsenal ranks but has not managed to break into the first team.
Akpom spent the second half of last season on loan at Sint-Truiden and has impressed the club.
The striker scored six goals in 16 Jupiler League games.
Arsenal are set to fly to Singapore on Sunday for games against Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain next week.
Yet although Akpom has returned for pre-season at Arsenal, he may not be included in Unai Emery's plans.

As it's reported the Gunners are looking for roughly £2m from Sint-Truiden in exchange for Akpom's permanent signature.
Akpom joined Arsenal at the age of six and made his debut for the U18 side at 15-years-old.
He signed his first professional contract with the club in 2012 after turning 17.
Akpom now has one remaining year left on his contract after extending it back in 2015 as he had attracted interest from a number of Europe and Premier League clubs.
Over the past four years he has had loan spells at Brentford, Coventry City, Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Brighton.
Just last year Leeds United and Celtic were looking to land to Arsenal youngster.
Yet it seems Akpom has played his best football in Belgium and it could be a great move for him to develop further.
Representatives from both Arsenal and Sint-Truiden are now in negotiations.
Unless Unai Emery decides to include Akpom in his future plans at Arsenal, a permanent transfer could be set in stone early next week.
