The Turkish giants signed the Algerian international on loan from Premier League side Leicester City.
Fenerbahce posted a short video to their Twitter page to confirm that the deal was completed.
But the cringeworthy clip ended up doing the rounds on social media for all the wrong reasons on Sunday.
The first five seconds of the shaky footage just shows a Fenerbahce flag placed next to a Turkey flag.
Slimani then stands between them before putting on a pair of sunglasses on for no reason whatsoever.
The Algerian, wearing a Fenerbahce shirt, then takes the chance to show off his bulging biceps.
Loud music is blaring throughout the video until it comes to an abrupt end after 17 seconds.
Yeovil Town are also in the running for the worst unveiling ever after they used dating app Tinder to announce the arrival of Oscar Gobern.
On the club website, Fenerbahce confirmed: "Our club have reached an agreement with the English team Leicester City to participate in the census as a lease for one year of Islam Slimani.
"Algeria national team footballer Islam Slimani, after the health checks, signed the official contract for Fenerbahce.
"We wish Slimani endless success with our barbed form."
