Jake Paul vs Deji result: Paul secures fifth-round stoppage win after Deji’s corner throw in the towel
JAKE PAUL secured a fifth-round stoppage victory against Deji after the Brit's corner threw in the towel.
Paul somehow found some strength after looking sapped of energy, and heavy shots landed to Deji's head and body saw the fight end.
The fight was the chief support for the two boxers' brothers, KSI and Logan Paul, who headline the Manchester Arena show.
It was all Paul in the opening round of the battle of the YouTubers, as he rocked Deji with some big shots, and the crowd were certainly livened up.
In the second, Deji landed a nice straight jab that bust Paul's nose early doors.
The third slowed down a lot more, with both men trying to take breathers on the ropes.
Deji landed some snappy uppercuts in the fourth, but was warned for holding Paul's head down by the referee. but by the fifth it was all over.
Deji was wilted after a flurry of punches thrown to the head and bread basket, and the Brit's corner decided to pull out their man.
Speaking after the match Jake said: "I feel amazing, I have worked so hard for this.
"Deji fought an amazing fight, I hope he learnt a lesson about what he said about my family.

"No hard feelings but I feel amazing. It has been a tough year for me, and this fight was fighting against all of those things, it was putting my heart on the line and overcome these things."
Deji said: "I just want to say I let a lot of people down, this is not the end for me. I am coming back from this, I will make it up to you. He said he was going to knock me out in the first round and I didn't! I want a rematch"
Jake Paul is an American YouTube star and actor who rose to fame after building a huge following on the Vine video app.
Born in Ohio on January 17, 1997, Jake began training to be a Navy Seal before he started posting Vine videos in September 2013.
By the time Twitter axed the app in October 2016, the vlogger had amassed 5.3 million followers and an extraordinary 2 billion plays.
