Chelsea star Michy Batshuayi does not want to make Valencia loan permanent and will fight for Stamford Bridge future

MICHY BATSHUAYI has vowed to make a success of his Chelsea career - thus ruling out a permanent move to Valencia.
Batshuayi is currently on a season-long loan at the La Liga side and has made a good start to life in Spain - with three goals in eight appearances.
Batshuayi also spent the second half of last season with Borussia Dortmund, where he excelled with seven goals in nine starts before injury curtailed his campaign.
However, the 24-year-old, who impressed for Belgium at the World Cup, has made it clear where he believes his long-term future lies.
He told “No (I’m not looking for a permanent move). I’ve so much respect for Chelsea and I love them.
“This loan is important for my development, to show how good I am so that I can go back to Chelsea a better player."
Batshuayi, whose goal at West Brom clinched the Premier League title for the Blues last May, rarely featured in west London under former boss Antonio Conte.
And while admitting he's found life at Stamford Bridge challenging so far, he says the memory of scoring that goal at the Hawthorns will stay with him forever.
He added: “Initially it was difficult for me. I was a young guy arriving at such a huge club, a changing room filled with stars.

"Fortunately I had Eden (Hazard) and (Thibaut) Courtois who took me under their wing and explained how things were done.
"They helped me integrate and feel at home. I had some really, really tough times and some amazing times too.
"Moments like scoring the goal to win the league are incredible and stay etched into your memory for ever.”
