Votes were cast by the country’s media to come up with the best 13 of the 2018 season – and Saints’ campaign has not gone unnoticed.

Wakefield trio Tom Johnstone, Matty Ashurst and Bill Tupou have also made it, along with Catalans Dragons’ Remi Casty.

Semi-finalists Warrington and Castleford were overlooked as only four clubs – St Helens, Wigan, Wakefield and Catalans – had players in the side.
