CONOR MCGREGOR'S odds of a sensational switch to WWE have been slashed after defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
The Notorious' UFC future is in doubt as his odds of retiring have also tumbled.
McGregor is 5/1 to retire from the octagon and is also 6/1 to join WWE as the next step in his career.
The Irishman suffered defeat to Nurmagomedov after tapping out in the fourth round of the lightweight title showdown.
The defeat led to a mass brawl between team McGregor and Nurmagomedov's entourage.
The loss and the aftermath of the match has left his future in serious doubt.
Before the match McGregor was 10/1 to retire in the next 12 months and was also 14/1 to join the WWE roster within a year.
WWE legend Chris Jericho has already called out The Notorious following his defeat in Las Vegas.
Jericho was asked on Twitter whether he would consider "UFC as the next stop"?
He responded by saying he "could probably beat" McGregor.
Alex Apati of said: "Mcgregor was brushed aside against Khabib in Vegas, making a rematch unlikely, and that means we've cut odds on The Notorious retiring as a result."
