Odds on Conor McGregor to fight Floyd Mayweather again after UFC defeat

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor squared up for a pre-fight press conference tour earlier this month

CONOR MCGREGOR'S UFC future is in huge doubt and he is 6/1 to return to a boxing ring to take on Floyd Mayweather again.

The Notorious may not return to the octagon after his recent defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov.

A mass brawl sparked after UFC 229 and the Irishman has been suspended for a month on medical grounds after he submitted in the fourth round.

There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding McGregor's future, having also been linked with a move to WWE.

This would see him follow in the footsteps of former UFC star Ronda Rousey.

But are linking McGregor to go toe to toe with Mayweather again in a boxing ring before 2020.

The two superstars boxed last year with Mayweather winning the one-sided bout in the tenth round.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said “McGregor’s UFC title fight loss to Khabib, not to mention the shambolic scenes after the fight, has led to a whole lot of speculation about what the Irishman will do next.

"While we have it at 1/5 that the pair will fight again at least before the end of next year, we’ve also got it at 6/1 that he’ll have a rematch with Floyd Mayweather in the boxing ring before 2020."
