Wales star will run down his contract at the Emirates after talks of a new deal collapsed
LIVERPOOL have emerged as favourites to land Aaron Ramsey after he announced he will run down his Arsenal contract.
The Wales international will become a free agent next summer leaving a number of elite clubs pursuing what would be a bargain move.
The Gunners star was set to sign a lucrative £250,000 five-year deal before talks collapsed last month.
A move to Italy initially looked most likely with the bookies, but now a switch within the Premier League leads the market.
The Reds are 9/2 to sign the 27-year-old, replacing AC Milan as favourites.
Milan are now second in the running at 8/1 ahead of a host of Premier League giants.

Ramsey is Arsenal's longest-serving player in the squad and will be able to talk to interested clubs as soon as January.
Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: "There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Ramsey’s future at Arsenal and with reports that contract negotiations have broken down again, attention turns to where he might head to if does go.
"Currently we have Liverpool as the 9/2 favourite, ahead of a move to Italy and AC Milan at 8/1. United and Chelsea have been mentioned as possible targets and are at 16/1 and 25/1 respectively.”
