'MCQUITTER'

Floyd Mayweather attacks former rivals as he labels Conor McGregor a quitter and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez a drug cheat

FLOYD MAYWEATHER labelled Conor McGregor a quitter and Saul Alvarez a cheat in a fiery Instagram post.

The American star, 41, beat both McGregor and 'Canelo' and trolled the pair on social media, claiming 'McQuitter' was a better fighter.

Alongside a photo punching Canelo, he said: "It didn’t matter if Canelo ate his PED steak or not this night, this was by far the easiest fight of my career!

"Connor McQuitter was a way better fighter than Canelo's cheating ass and I beat the brakes off him too!

"It takes me 36 mins or less to make $300 million plus. It literally takes me 1 night and 1 fight to make what you might make in 5 years and 11 fights!

"So really, who's still winning? You do the math!"

Canelo said he would like to face Mayweather in a rematch to their 2013 bout where the Mexican suffered the only loss of his professional career.

But he doubts Mayweather would be interested in the rematch saying The Money would not risk facing him again.

Canelo said on the American taking on another bout: "I don't think so. He doesn't want to risk a second fight with me.

"You know if he wants to return and have fights, he should return and fight me. It would be tough for him but I know that he wouldn't want to take that risk."

Canelo tested positive for showing trace levels of the banned substance clenbuterol in February and took part in two further tests with both tests coming back clean.

Mayweather beat the star via a unanimous points decision in 2013 when Alvarez, with his lack of experience, tried to out-box one of the best boxers of the modern era rather than stick to the high pressure style that he was accustom to.

The American also saw off McGregor, the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion.

He stopped the Irishman last year in the tenth round at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Canelo moves up to super middleweight to take on the WBA champion Rocky Fielding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 15.

This week he signed what is believed to be the "richest contract in sports history" with a £277million deal with the DAZN streaming service just eight months after his failed drugs test.
