TWO men have been charged following the ugly scenes that marred Wednesday night's Carabao Cup clash between West Ham and Tottenham.
One of the men has been charged on suspicion of pitch invasion, while the other is accused of a “racially aggravated public order.”
A further six arrests have been made following the violence at the London Stadium.
Two Tottenham fans were attacked by West Ham supporters inside the ground, amid fresh security concerns about the 66,000 all-seater.
The Spurs followers were being ejected from the Olympic Stadium when it was discovered they had taken up position in the West Ham section.
As they made their way down the steps towards the exit they were targeted by a few mindless idiots, who first threw drink over them before letting fly with punches.
On the pitch, it was Tottenham who stole the headlines and advanced to the quarter-finals of the competition at the expense of their London rivals.
Heung-min Son's brace, ending his 19-game goal drought in the process, set Mauricio Pochettino's men on the way to a 3-1 victory on the road.
Son's 150th appearance proved to be one to remember as the Spurs favourite ended his eight-month goal drought with a superb double as they went 2-0 ahead.
Lucas Perez's goal gave the Hammers a fighting chance, before Fernando Llorente fired in to end that glimmer of hope with 15 minutes remaining.
