Juventus boss Max Allegri confirms three injury concerns ahead of Manchester United clash with Blaise Matuidi, Douglas Costa and Mario Mandzukic all doubts
The Serie A champions, who are already six points clear at the top this season, play United on Wednesday night
JUVENTUS boss Max Allegri has an injury headache ahead of his side's Champions League clash against Manchester United on Wednesday.
First-team stars Mario Mandzukic, Blaise Matuidi and Douglas Costa are all doubts for the game.
Juve will be looking for a repeat of their 1-0 success at Old Trafford last month, with Paulo Dybala the match winner on the night.
The Argentinian ace was on target again on Saturday as Allegri's men maintained their six-point lead at the top of Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Cagliari.
However, Allegri has a number of injury concerns going into the reverse fixture - with Mandzukic the likeliest of the trio to feature at the Allianz Stadium as things stand.
In the build-up to the game, he said: "We hope to have him (Mandzukic) available.
"I've wanted to play him for sometime or half an hour, so I'd then have him completely available on Wednesday.
"(Giorgio) Chiellini has recovered, and Matuidi has a shot at making it - but suffered a knock to his hip (on Saturday).
"Douglas Costa has soreness, so let's see."
After their clash against Jose Mourinho's men, Juve travel to the San Siro on Sunday to face AC Milan.
