Claudio Ranieri wastes no time getting stuck in as he holds first Fulham training session
The former Leicester boss was appointed immediately after Slavisa Jokanovic was sacked yesterday
CLAUDIO RANIERI has arrived at Fulham's Motspur Park training ground for his first session in charge of the west London club.
The former Leicester boss was appointed immediately after the brutal sacking of Slavisa Jokanovic yesterday.
And the Italian is getting straight to work to inspire the players after their dismal start to life in the Premier League.
Ranieri, 67, will be hoping he can conjure up the same magic he used in Leicester's stunning title victory in 2016.
His first game in charge will take place after the international break in a must-win against fellow strugglers Southampton at Craven Cottage.
Ranieri's previous managing spell was in France as manager of Ligue 1 side Nantes.
The Premier League winning coach guided the French outfit to a ninth placed finish.
And Craven Cottage faithful should feel optimistic about their survival chances with a coach who delivered one of the most amazing stories in football just two years ago.
The task at hand will be a difficult one - with Fulham sitting bottom of the pile in 20th place.
