The Game ripped his chest muscle and was left with a huge bruise but he is already back at work this weekend
WWE legend Triple Ha has returned to work with his torn pectoral muscle heavily strapped and ready for the NXT TakeOver War Games.
The wrestling icon was pictured at the Staples Center in losa Angeles with the recovering muscle held in place with a sling over his giant right arm.
The Game tore his pectoral muscle during the main event of Crown Jewel last Friday.
The 49-year-old joined up with old pal Shawn Michaels to face the Brothers of Destruction Kane and The Undertaker at the controversial pay-per-view.
The NXT founder was injured in the action-packed match, which he went on to win by pinning the Big Red Machine after hitting him with a Pedigree.
Before going under the knife he shared a photo of the brutal damage he suffered, revealing a large bruise covering almost half of his upper body ahead of the operation.
Now after his successful surgery back in the US, Triple H took to Instagram to let his supporters know he is back on the “road to recovery”.
The Game wrote: “Out of surgery, happy to report all is well. Thanks to excellent medical care of Dr. Dugas and his team and all the well wishes, messages, tweets, and texts I got over the weekend.
“Road to recovery starts... NOW. #GameTime .”

After recently returning to the ring to do battle with Taker at last month’s Super Show-Down before his tag-team triumph with HBK, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative is expected to now spend several months on the sidelines.
However, the icon is no stranger to injury.

He bravely battled on to complete a match on Monday Night Raw back in 2001 with a torn quadricep.
It is not known how long Triple H, who has been with the wrestling promotion for nearly 25 years, will be out for.
He is understood to have suffered the injury during a spot where he fell out of the ring.
It could put a possible match-up with Batista at WrestleMania next year in New York into doubt.
