In possibly the weirdest video of the year, if not ever, the Manchester United favourite for some reason decided to post video footage of a chicken and himself on Instagram - a day before Thanksgiving.
He starts by kissing the raw meat, then licking it, then Salt Bae'ing it - before eventually ending the hideous clip by slapping the chicken.
The Old Trafford hierarchy might be having second thoughts about offering the Frenchman an ambassadorial role at the club after this.
One user voiced exactly that opinion saying: "Patrice Evra has taken his social media antics to a whole new level.
"I call on the Manchester United FC board to ditch the idea of making him an Ambassador at the club.
"We can't be associated with someone who behaves in such a despicable way."
Evra clearly doesn’t have much regard for his own health clearly, risking the threat of Salmonella – a foodborne illness - with this bizarre act.
The experienced full-back is without a club after leaving West Ham over the summer.

The video was met with a mixed reaction on social media, with the vast majority finding the 37-year-old’s actions rather disturbing.
Evra hit back at his critics though, taking aim at vegans in particular, saying:
“You need to start enjoying your life, remove your negativity from my Instagram.
“I don’t say anything when you eat all the grass in my garden.
“The cows need to eat as well, you know?
“You eat all the flowers, plants and everything. So please just stop being boring… I love this game.”
