NBA legend Shaquille O'Neill lived up to his 'Superman' nickname by consoling two young boys who had been involved in a head-on collision.
The 46-year-old has been deputised by the Broward County, Florida, Sheriff's Office and had been on his way to delivering Thanksgiving turkeys as part of his yearly 'Shaq-a-clause'.
While travelling, Shaq and other officers witnessed a head-on collision.
The basketball icon, who is now a pundit, rushed to the scene with images and video showing him consoling two young boys who had been involved in the wreck.
A post by the on Facebook read: "While deputies handled the crash scene, Shaq sprang into action and comforted the children who were involved in the wreck."
Thankfully, no one was hurt in the accident.
Shaq has been doing his 'Shaq-a-clause' for 26 years.
He hands out thousands of toys and food to children and families in need every year at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Shaq said earlier this week: "I know what it's like to wake up and not get one, single toy on Christmas.
"I don't want any child to have to go through that."
O'Neal played for six NBA teams during his career, winning four titles in a Hall of Fame career.
He was an All-Star 15 times and made 14 All-NBA teams.
Shaq also won an Olympic gold medal at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games.
