Chelsea enter race to sign Manchester United target Ivan Perisic, say bookies
Inter Milan ace reiterated his dream of playing in the Premier League ahead of the January transfer window
CHELSEA have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic, according to the bookies.
The Blues are now just second favourites to sign the Croatia international at 5/1, behind the Red Devils.
Man Utd have been long-term admirers of the forward and are leading market at 9/4.
Ahead of Inter's Champions League clash against Tottenham at Wembley, the 29-year-old spoke of his admiration of the English top flight.
Perisic said: "I have always said that [playing in the Premier League] is my dream.
"In football everything is possible, we will see in the future. Now, I'm focusing on Inter.”
Following these comments Perisic has also been linked with a move to West Ham by the bookies.

Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “With Perisic continuing to state his ambitions to play in the Premier League it surely won’t be long before he makes the move to England.
"With United previously making a play for him, they appear to be the obvious destination and are at 9/4 to be his next club, with Chelsea at 5/1 and West Ham at 14/1.”
After being a key player for World-Cup finalists Croatia in Russia, Perisic has scored twice and provided the same number of assists for Inter this season.
