Washington and New York meet again in the ninth NBA regular-season game in the UK at London's O2 Arena on January 17.

After the win on Monday night, Oubre Jr said: "It felt really good - the bounce of us playing at the Garden gave us a bit extra life.

"I was in rhythm and took the shots that I wanted, not what the defence gave me.

"I'm on Instagram every day looking at London.

"I'm going to get some good eats out there, do some shopping and enjoy the energy the country has and see what it's about."

Washington improved to 10-14 with their second win over New York this season having also beaten them at home in November.

But Oubre Jr is wary of the challenge the Knicks will pose his side in London next month.

He said: "They play hard - they're a young team with a lot of great young talent and if you don't come and match their intensity and their energy they gonna beat you.

"I have never been to Europe and London is a place that is on my bucket list so I'm super excited."
