have compared the duo as Mourinho currently leads the Premier League sack race while May is desperately struggling to get her Brexit deal through Parliament.

May's position is under immense scrutiny after she lost three key votes in the House of Commons earlier this week regarding her controversial Brexit deal.

While Mourinho's Manchester United have have failed to win in their last four Premier League games - after coming back from behind twice to draw against Arsenal 2-2 on Wednesday evening.

An 888sport spokesman said: “It’s difficult to think of two people with less job security right now than Mourinho and May – and both could be removed from their positions within the next couple of weeks.

“Theresa and Jose may have more in common than might seem – they’ve both struggled to reign in key dissenters in their ranks, as well as having issues with their right-wing.

"While a job swap may seem out of the question, May could do worse than ask Mourinho about United’s Champions League defeat to Sevilla last season for a masterclass on how to leave Europe with the minimum of fuss.”
