Married ex-Man Utd manager Jose Mourinho has enjoyed secret friendship with blonde 14 years younger than him
JOSE Mourinho has enjoyed a secret friendship with a blonde 14 years his junior.
The married dad of two met Prue Carter-Robinson, 41, eight years ago. Photos show her beaming next to him on a break.
Mourinho, 55, sacked as Man Utd boss on Tuesday, tried to gag The Sun on Sunday last night.
He and his secret blonde pal have known each other eight years and enjoyed time together at exotic locations around the world.
Mourinho, 55, kept in touch with Prue Carter-Robinson during his time as Man Utd boss.
Unmarried Prue, 41, a former IBM worker, lives in a £1.2million home in North London.
Last night he tried a legal challenge to stop The Sun on Sunday revealing the friendship.
He first met Prue when manager of Real Madrid from 2010-2013. Photos shared on social media reveal their long-term connection.
She grins while posing next to the footie boss in September 2010.
In other photos she is seen walking barefoot along the beach wearing denim shorts, a yellow crop-top and baseball cap.
A pal told how Prue has taken a break from work in recent months.
She attended Grey Coat Hospital, a top state school in Westminster.
Asked about Mourinho last night Prue said: “I don’t know what you are talking about”, and then slammed the door.
Mourinho, in line for a £15million payoff after his Old Trafford axing on Tuesday, has repeatedly stressed the importance of marriage throughout his career.
In December 2016 he flew to Tami, 53, twice in 24 hours as she recovered from emergency surgery in Lisbon. Reports at the time said she had suffered complications from an earlier op.
She recuperated at the family’s £2million home near Setubal and is understood to be back to health.
The couple met when he was 17 and Tami 15, and he often credits her for his achievements.
He once said: “The secret in everything is love. If you are successful in any job, I believe it is because you are in love with that job.
“And if you have a successful family it is because people are in love with each other. Love is the basic.”
In 2013 ex-Chelsea boss Mourinho got Tami’s and kids Matilde, 21, and 18-year-old Jose Jr’s name tattooed on his arm.
The family also have a £5million home in Belgravia, London, where Mourinho has been staying since his axing.
Mourinho was also reported to have had an affair in 2001 with boutique owner Elsa Sousa, while manager of Portuguese side Uniao de Leiria
She told a newspaper in 2007: “He told me he was separated from his wife because he was not happy. I was sure he was telling the truth.”
He will mull over his football future after a low-key Christmas with his family in Portugal.
